Don't be blue! Indulge in this blue cheese, nutty, gnocchi delight.

Be comforted with this simple recipe tonight

Grab these Ingredients 

  • 750grams of gnocchi

  • A handful of washed sage leaves

  • 1/3rd of a cup of quality olive oil

  • 650grams of jap pumpkin, sliced carefully into 5mm wedges

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 75 grams mozzarella cheese

  • 1 x 600ml container of pure, thin cream

  • ½ a tablespoon of nutmeg

  • 100grams of chopped blue cheese

  • Roasted chopped walnuts

  • 100mls of Gold Gourmet Foods Blue Cheese Sauce

And don’t forget the Gold Gourmet Blue Cheese Sauce! 

Here’s how you make your dish:

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees centigrade and grease your baking dish

  2. Cook your gnocchi before draining and briefly rinsing under cold water

  3. Combine and toss your sliced pumpkin with the remaining olive oil, your egg yolks, cream, nutmeg, mozzarella, and 50mls of Gold Gourmet Foods Blue Cheese Sauce

  4. Bake for 50 minutes or until your pumpkin is nice and soft

  5. Heat a quarter of a cup of oil in a frypan on medium heat and add the remaining sage leaves, your walnuts, and cook for one minute. Removing the nuts and sage and placing on a paper towel

  6. Add your sage leaves and walnuts to the top of your gnocchi dish and then drizzle with 50mls of Gold Gourmet Foods Blue Cheese Sauce, serving while it’s nice and hot

  7. Enjoy the best comfort dish ever!
