Let’s go meat free and maximum flavour! Gold Gourmet Foods Plant Based Vege Burger

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 sliced onions

  • 1 diced red onion

  • 2 x 400g tins black beans, rinsed and drained

  • 200 grams fresh breadcrumbs

  • 1 tsp crushed Gold Gourmet Foods garlic

  • Salt & pepper

  • 2 ripe tomatoes sliced

  • 1 baby cos lettuce picked & washed

  • 4 crusty bread rolls

  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • Grab Gold Gourmet Foods Vegan Aioli or Vegan Mayo, or both!

Pop it together like this;

  1.  Turn grill on, place onion in small pan on low heat with tablespoon of oil to soften and slowly sweat and caramelise.

  2. Crush beans with bread crumbs and garlic and season with salt and pepper. Shape mixture into patties.

  3. Heat medium non-stick pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and cook patties until crisp and golden, 3-4 minutes each side.

  4. When burgers are almost cooked, toast the rolls. Take out patties and drain on a paper towel.

  5.  Stack burger with lettuce and tomato top with burger patties and drizzle with Gold Gourmet Foods Vegan Aioli or Vegan Mayo top with roll and enjoy.
